Sani Hamid

Sani Hamid currently holds the position of Director (Economy & Market Strategy) in Financial Alliance. He also heads the Financial Alliance Islamic Wealth Advisory (FAiWA) division within Financial Alliance.
Sani has more than 22 years of working experience in the financial markets, having worked for companies such as S&P MMS where he led a team of analysts covering Emerging Asian economies; BNP Paribas Peregrine as a senior economist; and S&P Ratings as a Director in the sovereign team overseeing the ratings of countries such as Indonesia, India, Malaysia and Singapore.
He has been widely quoted in the media throughout his career and has spoken at numerous international conferences on a range of topics. He holds a Bachelor in Business (Hon) from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and a Masters in Social Science in Applied Economics from the National University of Singapore. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He also has a Certificate in Islamic Banking & Finance from the International Islamic University of Malaysia.
Sani presently sits on the Investment Committee of the Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS) and advises several Muslim Welfare Organizations on investment matters. He is actively involved with voluntary work with Muslim associations such as MUIS, Mendaki and others. He is also the advisor to the Debt Advisory Centre @ Association of Muslim Professionals.

Haron Masagos

Haron Masagoes Hassan presently is Senior Executive Wealth Management and the internal Shariah Advisor for the Islamic Wealth Advisory (FAiWA) division within Financial Alliance Pte Ltd. In his role, he works closely with FAiWA’s external shariah advisor, Prof Dr Akram Laldin of ISRA, Malaysia. Haron also has completed the Shariah Advisor Workshop by PERGAS (Association of Religious Islamic Scholars Singapore) which was conducted by Dr Zaharuddin Abdul Rahman.
He is presently also an adjunct lecturer for the International Islamic College and University College of Islam Melaka (under a joint collaboration with Jamiyah Education Centre Singapore) for diploma courses like Principles and Practices of Islamic Banking and Finance & Islamic Law of Transaction.
He completed his Pre-University studies in Madrasah Aljuneid before pursuing his studies in International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), obtaining bachelor’s degree in Comparative Religion Studies and Usuluddin. He had completed a certificate in Fundamentals of Financial Services from Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
He has given numerous seminars and diploma courses on a range of topics including Islamic finance, wealth management, contemporary Islamic sciences, investments, financial advisory and proper Islamic estate planning. He had been interviewed by Mediacorp Suria under its program ASET in which he covered the topics like future growth trend in Islamic Finance as well as matters related to Islamic Estate Planning.
